Close to 90 Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airfields
A review has uncovered that approximately 90 aircraft journeys linked to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from British airports, with some reportedly carrying British women who claim they were exploited by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Reveal Trail of Travel
The flight logs were part of a trove of legal papers and files released by Epsteinâs estate that have been released over the last year. The analysis uncovered 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein â including many that were previously unknown â arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel
Unidentified women were listed among the travelers flying to and from the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened after Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a underage person.
âIt was âappallingâ that there had never been a âfull-scale UK investigationâ into his dealings in the country,â remarked US lawyers representing numerous Epstein victims.
British Victims and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epsteinâs associate Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. Yet, that survivor has not been approached by UK authorities, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a response, the London's Metropolitan Police indicated they had ânot received any additional evidence that would support reopening the probe.â They commented, âIf new and relevant information be presented to us, including any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will review it.â
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
A bill to disclose all files held by the US government in relation to Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of files are projected to be made public.
Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the department could make public case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epsteinâs long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
